Invicta Fork Extensions (Model IFE) provide a simple but effective method of handling the occasional long and awkward load that extends past the tips of the parent fork arm. Available in three fork size categories — 100 x 50mm, 125 x 50mm and 150 x 60mm — with capacities from 2,000kg to 6,000kg per pair at half extension length. Extensions must not exceed 66% of the parent fork length. Available in lengths from 1,220mm to 3,000mm. Built in the UK by Invicta Forks & Attachments.

Suitable Applications

Handling long, wide or awkward loads that extend beyond the standard fork tips — including timber, sheet materials, plasterboard, pipes, structural steelwork and oversized pallets. Common in builders' merchants, timber yards, distribution centres and manufacturing facilities.

How to Use the Fork Extensions

1. Position forks to the desired distance apart.
2. Remove fork pocket heel pins from the extensions.
3. Drive forks into the fork extensions.
4. Insert heel pins directly behind the heel of the fork and attach safety lynch pins.
5. The extensions are now ready for use.

Warning: Extensions must not exceed 66% of the parent fork length. Do not tip load or shock load the extensions.

• Ensure truck and extensions can handle the intended load.
• Ensure heel pins are correctly positioned before each use.
• Do not drive into extensions without removing heel pins.
• Do not shock load or tip load the extensions.
• Extensions must not exceed 66% of the parent fork length.

Inspection and Maintenance

Inspect weekly: weld points, extension wear and heel pin attachments. Certified for six months from manufacture.
