700 bar | For Multi-Cylinder Systems | Needle and Ball Variants
The Yale VHM range provides throttle and shut-off valves rated for 700 bar, used to shut off hydraulic lines especially in multiple cylinder systems. Two models cover both throttling and full shut-off needs: VHM-1 needle valve (which also allows oil flow throttling within lifting applications) and VHM-2 ball valve (full shut-off only).
Hydraulic line shut-off and flow throttling
Yale documentation specifies the VHM range for shutting off hydraulic lines, particularly in multiple cylinder systems. The VHM-1 needle valve also allows oil flow throttling, useful for lifting applications requiring fine speed control. The VHM-2 ball valve provides positive shut-off only.
Per Yale: multi-cylinder hydraulic systems requiring per-cylinder shut-off control, and lifting applications needing speed throttling (VHM-1 needle).
