This product covers the additional Tigrip-branded vertical plate clamp models in the CMCO range — including CY series, TAG series, and various long-item-number plate clamp models — that complement the core Camlok CX, CZ, HG500, TJC and TWG ranges. Vertical plate handling across general fabrication, sheet metal, structural steelwork, and industrial material handling — addresses the additional capacity points and special variants not covered by the core CX/CZ/HG500/TJC/TWG products.

Vertical clamps lift plate on edge; where plate must be lifted flat or turned, see the horizontal lifting clamps, and for polished or coated plate the non-marring range grips without leaving tooth marks.

Inspection and Maintenance

A visual inspection is required before every use. A thorough examination by a qualified engineer is required at least every 6 months in regular use, in accordance with LOLER 1998. Records of examination must be kept. Refer to the manufacturer's manual for detailed inspection and maintenance instructions, derating factors for use, and replacement schedules for any wearing components.
