Crane and forklift mounted skips for moving concrete, waste, materials and tools around site. Tipping, self tipping, drop bottom and lifting designs across a wide range of capacities.
Concrete skips are built for wet pours and discharge in a controlled way — lay-down and rollover types suit low headroom, conical skips suit column pours. Waste and muck skips are open topped for general clearance and tip rather than pour.
Crane-lifted skips have certified lifting points and documentation to match. Fork-mounted skips have pockets and a retaining chain and are not intended for crane use. The two are not interchangeable — check what the skip is rated for before planning the lift.
Wet concrete is heavy, and a skip that fits the volume may still exceed what the crane can handle at the working radius. Check the loaded weight against the crane chart rather than sizing on capacity alone.
A tipping skip is open topped and empties by tipping, suiting general waste and muck. A concrete skip has a controlled gate or chute for placing wet concrete.
Not unless it is specifically rated and certified for overhead lifting. Fork pockets are not certified lifting points.
Work from the loaded weight rather than the volume, and check it against the crane chart at the radius you will be working. Volume is rarely the limiting factor.
The range covers Waste Skips and Concrete Skips.
