The Camlok TST is an adjustable-jaw grab for handling stone, masonry blocks, kerbs and similar block-shaped construction materials. Available in five capacity/jaw combinations from 200 kg (short jaw) up to 1000 kg, in both short (S) and long (L) jaw variants, the TST adjusts via screw mechanism to accommodate a range of block widths.

Suitable Applications

Stone, masonry, kerb, and concrete block handling in construction, landscaping, civil engineering, and quarrying. Suited to repetitive block placement and movement on building sites.

A grab grips by friction, so surface condition matters and a lift over people needs a positively secured attachment instead. Where the load can be slung, slings and shackles are simpler.

Inspection and Maintenance

A visual inspection is required before every use. A thorough examination by a qualified engineer is required at least every 6 months in regular use, in accordance with LOLER 1998. Records of examination must be kept. Refer to the manufacturer's manual for detailed inspection and maintenance instructions, derating factors for use, and replacement schedules for any wearing components.
