The Invicta Underslung Scoop (Model IUS) is an ideal alternative to a loading shovel, turning your forklift into a more universal asset for moving and loading loose materials such as sand, gravel and top soil. The underslung design brings the load closer to the truck, reducing the load centre and shortening the combined length of scoop and truck — a real benefit when working in tight spaces. Available in two capacities and manufactured in Leeds by Invicta Forks & Attachments.

Key Features

  • Underslung design — brings the load closer to the truck for effective ground-level scooping and a shorter combined length
  • Secondary locking mechanism — prevents accidental discharge of the load
  • Welded wear strip to front lip — reinforces the bucket edge for a longer working life
  • Twin bucket release handles — operable from both sides of the frame
  • Floor stand — eases entry and exit of the fork pockets
  • Zinc plated heel pins — secure, corrosion-resistant attachment to the truck
  • Maximum fork section 150 x 50 mm at 683 mm centres — check your truck's forks are within these limits
  • Painted bright orange — high-visibility finish for on-site safety

UK Manufactured | LOLER Compliant

This product is designed and manufactured in the UK by Invicta Forks & Attachments, the UK's largest mechanical forklift attachment manufacturer, based in Leeds. Where applicable, this product is supplied with a test certificate and EC Declaration of Conformity. The scoop is certified for six months from date of manufacture, after which a thorough examination by a competent person is required as advised by the HSE.

Optional Accessories

  • Pull chain c/w chain keep — for high level discharge

Operation

Position the forks to the correct distance apart to locate into the fork pockets, then remove the heel pins from the attachment. Drive the forks fully into the fork pockets, insert the heel pins directly behind the heel of each fork and attach the safety lynch pin into the hole provided. The attachment is then ready for use.

Inspection and Maintenance

Inspect weekly with particular attention to all weld points, wear and distortion of the quick release bottom hangers, any damaged or worn components and alignment of the scoop. Any damage or failure must be reported and rectified before re-use. Treat general surface rusting in critical areas with proprietary inhibitors, primers and paint on a regular basis. Certified for six months from manufacture, after which it is the customer's responsibility to have the product re-tested at an approved facility or inspected and logged in a register by a competent person as advised by the HSE.
