Role Overview
WOLFF Onsite is a growing business delivering innovative power and energy solutions across the UK. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our expanding team, working primarily on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), hybrid generators, and battery power units.
The role suits a practical, hands-on electrician who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, has a strong safety mindset, and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team. Flexibility and a willingness to support the wider team when required are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning, fault finding, and maintenance of:
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Hybrid generator and battery units
- Electrical and minor mechanical works in the yard and on customer sites
- Supporting testing, inspection, and commissioning activities
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently and safely
- Completing job documentation and reports as required
- Working in accordance with RAMS, site rules, and company procedures
- Representing WOLFF Onsite professionally on client sites nationwide
- Supporting the wider team when workloads allow (“mucking in” where needed)
Qualifications & Experience
Essential / Preferred
- Level 3 technical qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Practical, hands-on electrical experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel nationally and work flexibly when required
Desirable
- Background in generators, power generation, or BESS systems
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (training can be supported if not held)
- Experience with hybrid power systems, battery storage, or energy equipment
- CSCS card (or willingness to obtain)
- Mechanical knowledge or experience
