Site Boxes

Security

Site boxes vary considerably in how much resistance they offer. Look at the gauge of the steel, the design of the lock housing — a shrouded or deadlocking mechanism resists attack better than an exposed padlock — and whether the lid overlaps the body. Insurance-approved ratings exist and are worth checking where contents are valuable.

Static or mobile

Larger site boxes and chests are designed to stay in place and often have forklift pockets or lifting points for repositioning. Van boxes and truck boxes are smaller and built to travel with tools rather than store them on site overnight.

Anchoring

An unanchored box can be carried away whole. Where the box stays in one place, bolting it down or chaining it to something substantial defeats the most common form of attack.

What is the difference between a site box and a van box?

A site box is larger and heavier, designed to stay on site, often with forklift pockets. A van box is smaller and built to travel with the tools.

How do I stop a site box being stolen?

Anchor it. Most successful thefts involve removing the whole box rather than defeating the lock.

Delivery Information

From our depot to your site, every order is fully tracked and delivered on our own WOLFF Onsite vehicles or via trusted courier partners. Delivery costs are calculated based on your postcode and order size.

Pallet Delivery
Dispatched within 1–2 working days, delivered next working day between 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday. Delivery cost is based on the number of pallet spaces and your delivery zone.

Parcel Delivery
Smaller items like radio accessories and safety equipment ship via tracked courier at a flat rate. Deliveries between 8:30am–5pm, Monday to Friday.

RENTAL Delivery / Collection
All rentals are delivered and collected by the WOLFF Onsite team. We'll confirm a delivery time that works for you and arrange collection within 3 working days of your hire end date. Deliveries and collections between 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday, Saturday collections can be arranged if suitable.

Dispatch Times
Orders placed by 1pm are dispatched same day where possible. Some products carry a manufacturing lead time, this is always stated in the product description.
