The Camlok FLTH dual forklift tine hook converts a standard forklift truck into a temporary lifting crane by attaching to both forklift tines simultaneously. Two capacity ratings are offered — FLTH2 (2000 kg) and FLTH3 (3000 kg) WLL — with the dual-tine design providing balanced lifting from a stable two-point engagement with the forklift carriage.
Key Features
- Dual-tine engagement — engages both forklift tines for balanced two-point lifting.
- Two capacity ratings — 2000 kg (FLTH2) and 3000 kg (FLTH3) WLL.
- Converts forklift to crane — allows a forklift to be used as a temporary lifting crane for short-duration lifts.
- Adjustable tine spacing — accommodates standard forklift tine widths.
- Forged steel construction — built for daily warehouse and construction use.
Suitable Applications
Material lifting on construction sites and in warehouses where a forklift is available but a dedicated crane is not. Common in pallet/container loading, plant repositioning, and ad-hoc lifting tasks.
Attachments are chosen by load shape: drums, bulk bags and banded packs each need a different one, and every attachment moves the load centre forward and derates the truck.
Inspection and Maintenance
A visual inspection is required before every use. A thorough examination by a qualified engineer is required at least every 6 months in regular use, in accordance with LOLER 1998. Records of examination must be kept. Refer to the manufacturer's manual for detailed inspection and maintenance instructions, derating factors for use, and replacement schedules for any wearing components.
