The Camlok TPR pipe grab is a specialist round-stock lifting attachment for pipes, tubes, bars and similar cylindrical materials. Three capacity ratings are offered — TPR500 (500 kg), TPR1500 (1500 kg) and TPR3000 (3000 kg) WLL — with the grab adjusting to accommodate a range of pipe diameters.

Suitable Applications
Pipe handling in fabrication shops, pipeline construction, structural tube work, and bar stock operations. Common in steel stockholders, fabrication, and any operation handling cylindrical stock.
A grab grips by friction, so surface condition matters and a lift over people needs a positively secured attachment instead. Where the load can be slung, slings and shackles are simpler.
Inspection and Maintenance
A visual inspection is required before every use. A thorough examination by a qualified engineer is required at least every 6 months in regular use, in accordance with LOLER 1998. Records of examination must be kept. Refer to the manufacturer's manual for detailed inspection and maintenance instructions, derating factors for use, and replacement schedules for any wearing components.
