The Invicta Fork Mounted In-Line Pole (Model IFIB) lifts a variety of coiled products, typically in low-volume environments handling mixed pallet and coil applications. Unlike the standard Fork Mounted Pole (IFB), the IFIB mounts in-line with the forks for applications where the approach angle requires the pole to extend directly forward. The high tensile machined pole has a tapered tip for easy location into the core and a smooth surface finish to protect the load, in three models with effective lengths from 3000mm to 3500mm; manufactured in Leeds by Invicta Forks & Attachments.
Key Features
- In-line mounting — pole extends directly forward in line with the forks for front-approach applications
- High tensile machined pole — precision-machined with a tapered tip for easy roll location
- Free standing design — stands independently for easy fork insertion
- Smooth surface finish — protects the load from damage during handling
- Secure attachment — zinc plated heel pins with optional thumbscrew retention

More About This Product
The Invicta Fork Mounted In-Line Pole (Model IFIB) is capable of lifting a variety of coiled products and is usually used in low volume or occasional usage environments with a mixed pallet and coiled product application. Unlike the standard Fork Mounted Pole (IFB), the IFIB is mounted in-line with the forks for applications where the approach angle requires the pole to extend directly forward. The high tensile machined pole features a tapered tip for easy location into the core and a smooth surface finish to protect the load. Available in three models with effective lengths from 3000mm to 3500mm. Manufactured in Leeds by Invicta Forks & Attachments.
Suitable Applications
The IFIB is suited to the same applications as the IFB — carpet warehouses, paper merchants, textile manufacturers — but is selected when the approach angle requires the pole to extend directly forward rather than offset from the forks.
How to Use the Fork Mounted In-Line Pole
- Position forks to the correct distance apart.
- Drive forks into pockets with thumb screws retracted.
- Tighten thumb screws securely.
- Insert the pole into the core of the coiled product and lift.
Warning:
Ensure the pole is fully inserted before lifting. Do not tip load or shock load. Do not exceed the safe working load.
Safety Information
- Ensure thumbscrews are securely fastened.
- Ensure the pole is fully inserted before lifting.
- Do not tip load.
- Do not shock load.
Inspection and Maintenance
Inspect weekly — focus on weld points, damaged components and pole alignment. Certified for six months.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between the IFB and IFIB?
The IFB has the pole offset from the forks, whilst the IFIB mounts the pole in-line (directly forward). Choose based on your approach angle and aisle configuration.
