UK Manufactured | LOLER Compliant

This product is designed and manufactured in the UK by Invicta Forks & Attachments, the UK's largest mechanical forklift attachment manufacturer, based in Leeds. Where applicable, this product is supplied with a test certificate and EC Declaration of Conformity. LOLER 1998 thorough examinations are required every 6 months by a competent person after initial certification.

Suitable Applications

The IFMPH-1 is ideal for logistics yards, distribution centres, manufacturing facilities, agricultural operations and any premises where trailers need to be repositioned without a dedicated tow vehicle. Common uses include moving goods trailers, flatbed trailers, plant trailers and car transporters within yard boundaries.
Attachments are chosen by load shape: drums, bulk bags and banded packs each need a different one, and every attachment moves the load centre forward and derates the truck.

How to Use the Fork Mounted Push Hitch

  1. Position forks to the correct distance apart.
  2. Remove heel pins and drive forks into fork pockets.
  3. Insert heel pins behind the fork heel and attach lynch pin.
  4. Select ball hitch or pin coupling as required for the trailer.
  5. Slowly approach the trailer coupling and engage.
  6. Move the trailer at a slow, controlled speed.

Warning:
Only use the push hitch within yard boundaries at low speed. Do not use on public highways. Ensure the trailer coupling is fully engaged before moving.

Safety Information

  • Ensure heel pins are correctly fitted before every use.
  • Only move trailers at low speed within yard boundaries.
  • Ensure the coupling is fully engaged before moving.
  • Check trailer brakes and wheels before moving.

Inspection and Maintenance

Inspect regularly — focus on weld points, fork pockets, heel pins and coupling mechanisms.
