The Invicta Fork Mounted Sweeper — affectionately known as 'The Basil' — is a quick and easy solution for re-heaping loose granule products such as sand, top soil, grain or similar materials. Available in two configurations: the ECO range with 5 rows of brushes for lighter-duty tasks, and the heavy-duty range with 8 rows for large open spaces and heavier materials. Widths range from 1200mm to 2450mm. All models feature interchangeable blue nylon brushes and the facility to hang the Fork Mounted Magnet from the frame. Manufactured in Leeds by Invicta Forks & Attachments.

Suitable Applications

The Basil is ideal for warehouse yards, construction sites, farms, quarries, grain stores, builders merchants and any location where loose granular material needs to be swept into heaps for collection. Common uses include sweeping sand, gravel, top soil, grain, sawdust and general site debris.

How to Use the Fork Mounted Sweeper – 'The Basil'

1. Position forks to the correct distance apart.
2. Drive forks into fork hoops with twist screws retracted.
3. Tighten twist screws onto the fork blade.
4. Lower the brush so bristles contact the sweeping surface.
5. Drive at a slow jogging pace in a straight line.
6. Lift the brush, reverse and repeat until the area is clear.
7. Approach heaps at right angles to create a single pile for collection.

Warning: Do not corner whilst sweeping as material will spill. Do not reverse with the brush in contact with the surface. Do not stand or place items on the brush hood during storage.

Inspection and Maintenance

Inspect monthly. Swap front and rear bristles periodically to ensure even wear. Replace brushes when worn.
