Model 2111.4 / 2111.5 | Telehandler-Profile Pocket | ISO 13284 Compliant | Heel Pin Secured | CE Marked | UKCA Compliant
The Eichinger Telehandler Fork Extensions (Model 2111.4 / 2111.5) are heavy-duty extensions designed specifically for the wider-profile tines found on telehandlers and telescopic handlers, built in Germany by Florian Eichinger GmbH. Each extension slides over the existing tine and is secured by a heel pin locking behind the fork heel, preventing forward movement in use; manufactured to ISO 13284, the British Standard for Fork Extensions. Available in two lengths to suit different reach requirements โ see also our standard Forklift Fork Extensions (Model 2111.2 / 2111.3).
| Model | Pocket Profile | Compliance |
|---|---|---|
| 2111.4 | Telehandler profile | ISO 13284 |
| 2111.5 | Telehandler profile | ISO 13284 |
The load rating is quoted as a uniformly distributed load (UDL) per pair of extensions. Always use fork extensions in conjunction with the telehandler manufacturer's data and load plates. The original fork tine must support at least 60% of the extension length.
This product carries CE marking in accordance with EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, and a UKCA certificate is also provided where required for the UK market. The fork extensions conform to ISO 13284, the British Standard for Fork Extensions. Manufactured under DIN ISO 9001:2015 quality management. An EC Declaration of Conformity is supplied with every unit as standard.
The made in Germany Eichinger Telehandler Fork Extensions (Model 2111.4 / 2111.5) are heavy-duty fork extensions designed specifically for the wider-profile tines found on telehandlers and telescopic handlers. The 2111.4 and 2111.5 Telehandler Fork Extensions are designed for construction sites where telehandlers need additional fork reach to handle oversized, long or awkwardly shaped loads. Typical applications include transporting timber, steel sections, scaffolding components, plasterboard packs and other materials that overhang the standard telehandler fork length. The extensions provide increased load support area, reducing the risk of loads tipping forward. Not suitable as a substitute for longer permanent forks where continuous extended-reach work is required.
Warning:
Do not use fork extensions for dragging loads. Do not exceed the UDL rating of the extensions or the residual capacity of the telehandler. The original fork tine must support at least 60% of the extension length. Always refer to the load plate on the unit and the telehandler manufacturer's guidelines.
This product is CE marked and supplied with a full EC Declaration of Conformity in accordance with the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. A UKCA certificate is also provided where required for the Great Britain market. The fork extensions conform to ISO 13284, the British Standard for Fork Extensions. Manufactured under a DIN ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system. All lifting equipment used on UK construction sites must comply with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).
The telehandler fork extensions must be inspected before each use and undergo a thorough examination at least every 12 months by a competent person in accordance with LOLER 1998. All inspections must be documented. Pay particular attention to the fork pockets for wear or deformation, heel pin holes, all weld points and the overall structural condition. Check for cracking, distortion, corrosion or thinning of material, particularly at stress points. General surface rusting should be treated with proprietary rust inhibitors, primers and paint on a regular basis.
The 2111.4 and 2111.5 are designed for telehandler-profile fork tines, which are wider and thicker than standard forklift tines. The 2111.2 and 2111.3 have a 148 ร 60mm pocket designed for standard forklift forks. Using the wrong profile will result in a loose or incompatible fit. Measure your fork tines before ordering and contact WOLFF Onsite to confirm the correct model for your machine.
ISO 13284 requires that the original fork tine must support at least 60% of the total extension length. This ensures the extension is adequately supported and prevents it from flexing or detaching during use. Measure the length of your telehandler forks and compare against the extension length before ordering.
The extensions should be visually inspected before each use and undergo a thorough examination at least every 12 months by a competent person, in accordance with LOLER 1998. Pay particular attention to the fork pockets, heel pin holes and weld points.
