The Camlok CX is a heavy-duty vertical lifting clamp for steel plate, beams and structural sections, spanning 1500 kg up to 10,000 kg WLL with both standard and long-reach (L) jaw variants to accommodate a wide range of plate thicknesses. Each clamp uses a positive cam-and-spring action — once engaged on the load, the gripping force increases as the load is applied, providing secure attachment throughout the lift.

Suitable Applications
Steel fabrication, structural steelwork, plate handling in shipbuilding, machine and tool building, and rolling mill operations. Used wherever vertical plate or section lifts are required with a certified, mechanically positive attachment.

Inspection and Maintenance
A visual inspection is required before every use. A thorough examination by a qualified engineer is required at least every 6 months in regular use, in accordance with LOLER 1998. Records of examination must be kept. Refer to the manufacturer's manual for detailed inspection and maintenance instructions, derating factors for use, and replacement schedules for any wearing components.
