The Tigrip CZ vertical plate clamp is the heavy-duty industrial-range plate clamp from Columbus McKinnon (CMCO), covering an extended capacity range from 1000 kg up to 30,000 kg WLL. The CZ series uses the same self-locking cam-and-spring action as the Camlok CX but extends to higher capacities (CZ30 = 30,000 kg) and a wider variety of jaw configurations, with standard and long-reach (L) variants available across most capacity ratings.

The Tigrip CZ plate clamp is CE marked, UKCA compliant, and supplied with certification. Fully compatible with LOLER 1998 and PUWER 1998 when used within rated capacity.
Suitable Applications
Heavy plate handling in steelworks, shipbuilding, structural fabrication, bridge construction, plant building, and rolling mill operations. The CZ20 and CZ30 ratings address the heaviest vertical plate lifts in the Camlok/Tigrip portfolio.
Inspection and Maintenance
A visual inspection is required before every use. A thorough examination by a qualified engineer is required at least every 6 months in regular use, in accordance with LOLER 1998. Records of examination must be kept. Refer to the manufacturer's manual for detailed inspection and maintenance instructions, derating factors for use, and replacement schedules for any wearing components.
