The Camlok LJ (Leather) non-marring plate clamp uses high-grip leather pads instead of serrated steel jaws to lift plate and sheet materials without marking the surface finish — ideal for stainless steel, polished metal, mirror-finish stock and coated or painted plate where any indentation from a serrated clamp would compromise the finish. Two capacity ratings: LJ500 (500 kg) and LJ1500 (1500 kg).

The Camlok LJ plate clamp is CE marked, UKCA compliant, and supplied with certification. Fully compatible with LOLER 1998 and PUWER 1998 when used within rated capacity. Leather pads should be inspected before each use and replaced when wear is evident.
Suitable Applications
Lifting stainless steel plate, polished stock, mirror-finish material, anodised aluminium, painted or coated plate, and any finished material where serrated jaws would damage the surface. Common in food and pharmaceutical equipment fabrication, architectural metalwork, and signage production.
Inspection and Maintenance
A visual inspection is required before every use. A thorough examination by a qualified engineer is required at least every 6 months in regular use, in accordance with LOLER 1998. Records of examination must be kept. Refer to the manufacturer's manual for detailed inspection and maintenance instructions, derating factors for use, and replacement schedules for any wearing components.
