2000kg WLL | 1090mm Spreader Beam | For Lifting Bulk Bags, FIBCs & Big Bags by Crane | CE Marked
The Camlok TTB spreader beam is a specialist lifting attachment for handling bulk bags โ also known as FIBCs (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers) or "big bags" โ by overhead crane. The 1090 mm spreader beam keeps the bag's four lifting loops separated under load, preventing the loops converging on the crane hook and ensuring the bag opens stably for safe transport and discharge. Rated at 2000 kg WLL, it suits the majority of FIBC sizes used in industrial bulk handling.
| Model | WLL | Beam Length |
|---|---|---|
| TTB 2.0 / 1090 | 2000 kg | 1090 mm |
CE Marked, UKCA Compliant & LOLER 1998 Ready
The Camlok TTB spreader beam is CE marked, UKCA compliant, and manufactured to relevant European lifting standards. Fully compatible with LOLER 1998 and PUWER 1998 when correctly used and inspected. Supplied with certification, identification, and operating instructions.
Lifting and transporting bulk bags / FIBCs by overhead crane in construction (cement, sand, gravel), agriculture (fertilisers, grain), chemical processing (powdered chemicals, polymers), food manufacturing (flour, sugar, starches), recycling, and waste handling. The spreader keeps the bag stable during lifts, transport, and discharge into hoppers, silos, or mixers.
A visual inspection is required before every use. A thorough examination by a qualified engineer is required at least every 6 months in regular use, in accordance with LOLER 1998. Records of examination must be kept. Refer to the manufacturer's manual for detailed inspection and maintenance instructions, derating factors for use, and replacement schedules for any wearing components.
Supplied with manufacturer's certification, identification, and operating instructions. WOLFF Onsite offers post-sales support including spares, certified inspection, and replacement. Contact our team for advice on selection, sizing, and application-specific configurations.
A bulk bag's four lifting loops want to converge on the crane hook when lifted directly. This collapses the bag's shape, can cause loops to slip off the hook, and makes the bag unstable during transport. A spreader beam holds the four loops apart at a fixed spacing, keeping the bag open, square, and stable throughout the lift.
The TTB 2.0 / 1090 has a 1090 mm spreader length, which suits most standard FIBC sizes (typical bags are 900โ1100 mm square). It is rated for bags up to 2000 kg gross weight. For non-standard bag sizes, verify your bag's loop spacing fits the beam length.
No. The TTB is designed for overhead crane attachment via the central lifting eye. For forklift-based bulk bag handling, separate forklift bag handling attachments are available.
A visual inspection is required before every use. A thorough examination by a qualified engineer is required at least every 6 months for spreader beams in regular use, in accordance with LOLER 1998. Records of examination must be kept.
