The overall height of just 115mm fits under loads with limited ground clearance, running on 8 hardwearing 85ร90mm nylon wheels. It pairs with the matching LX rear skate pair to make up the complete LX-12 system; designed for smooth finished flat even floors only โ it will not pull on rough finished uneven floor.

This product is manufactured to European standards by Yale Industrial Products, part of the Columbus McKinnon group. All units are supplied with a CE Declaration of Conformity. Load moving skates are classed as work equipment under PUWER 1998. Regular visual inspection is required before every use, with periodic thorough examination by a competent person in line with site safety policy and any applicable insurance requirements.

The LX-12F is the directional-control half of the LX low-profile system. Used in pairs with the matching rear, it suits machine moves, plant relocation and any in-plant application where a low-profile steerable skate is required. Selling separately allows replacement of a damaged front, expansion of an existing rear-only setup, or assembly of a bespoke configuration.
Warning:
Do not exceed the 6t rated front capacity. The matched rear must be present and correctly rated. The LX will not pull on rough finished uneven floor.
Inspect weekly with attention to the steering swivel, wheel nylon condition, towing bar attachment and frame weld points. Replace worn wheels and bearings using genuine Yale LX spares.
LX components match by capacity within the system. The LX-12F is intended to pair with the corresponding LX rear at matching capacity. Note that the LX rear skates are identical in construction across the LX-6 and LX-12 systems โ the difference is in the front skate's load capacity and wheel count.
The LX-12F is low-profile (115mm overall height) with hardwearing nylon wheels โ the cost-effective alternative. The Steerman SX/S front section uses heavier-duty polyamide twin rollers with universal joint suspension and a turntable on axial ball bearing, suited to a wider range of floor conditions and higher capacities up to 60t.
No โ the LX and SX/S platforms have different frame dimensions and load plate geometry. They are not cross-compatible.

From our depot to your site, every order is fully tracked and delivered on our own WOLFF Onsite vehicles or via trusted courier partners. Delivery costs are calculated based on your postcode and order size.
Pallet Delivery
Dispatched within 1โ2 working days, delivered next working day between 8amโ5pm, Monday to Friday. Delivery cost is based on the number of pallet spaces and your delivery zone.
Parcel Delivery
Smaller items like radio accessories and safety equipment ship via tracked courier at a flat rate. Deliveries between 8:30amโ5pm, Monday to Friday.
RENTAL Delivery / Collection
All rentals are delivered and collected by the WOLFF Onsite team. We'll confirm a delivery time that works for you and arrange collection within 3 working days of your hire end date. Deliveries and collections between 8amโ5pm, Monday to Friday, Saturday collections can be arranged if suitable.
Dispatch Times
Orders placed by 1pm are dispatched same day where possible. Some products carry a manufacturing lead time, this is always stated in the product description.
