How to Use the Steel Snap Hook

1. Inspect the connector before each use — body for distortion or cracks, gate for free operation, locking mechanism for correct function.
2. For the screw gate variant: open the gate, position the connector around the attachment point, close the gate, manually screw the locking sleeve down until fully tight.
3. For the twist lock variant: open the gate, position the connector around the attachment point, release the gate — the spring-loaded sleeve will automatically lock.
4. Verify the gate is fully closed and locked before applying load.
5. Verify the connector is loaded along the major axis — never side-loaded or three-way loaded.
6. After use, inspect for damage before storing.
