How to Use the Combi Tipping Skip
- Position forks the correct distance apart to locate into fork pockets.
- Remove fork pocket heel pins from the skip.
- Drive forks into the fork pockets and insert heel pins behind the heel of the fork.
- Transport to the tipping area and release the secondary lock mechanism on the rear.
- For manual tipping: pull the release handle to tip the skip. For auto tipping: position the actuator plate over the yard skip side, lower to activate the release, then lift to clear.
- Once emptying is complete, pull the skip back to re-latch onto the hook.
- Replace the safety lock mechanism. The skip is now ready for reuse.
Warning:
Ensure the secondary lock mechanism is engaged during transport and disengaged only when emptying is required. Do not empty the skip whilst the forks are in the side entry pockets as this could unbalance the fork truck.
