The Invicta Auto-Lok Tipping Skip (Model IATS-2D) is a fork-mounted tipping skip built in Leeds by Invicta Forks & Attachments, the UK's largest mechanical forklift attachment manufacturer. Its pioneering automatic locking mechanism secures the skip to the telehandler forks the moment it lifts clear of the ground, so the operator remains in the cab through the entire lift-tip-lower cycle. A 4-way fork chassis, stackable fully welded body, 1.2mยณ nominal capacity and 2,000kg safe working load complete a fully load tested, certified unit.

This product is designed and manufactured in the UK by Invicta Forks & Attachments in Leeds, in accordance with EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. A test certificate and EC Declaration of Conformity are supplied with every unit as standard. The skip is certified for six (6) months from the date of manufacture, after which it is the customer's responsibility to arrange a thorough examination under LOLER 1998 by a competent person every 6 months thereafter.

This allows the operator to remain in the cab throughout the entire lift-tip-lower cycle, removing the need to exit the machine mid-operation as required with traditional roll-forward skips. A 4-way fork chassis allows the skip to be picked up from any side for easy positioning on site, and the tapered, fully welded body is stackable for efficient storage between uses. With a 1.2mยณ nominal capacity, 2,000kg safe working load and durable orange painted finish, the IATS-2D is a purpose-built solution for high-traffic construction, demolition and industrial sites. Every unit is fully load tested and supplied with certification.
The Auto-Lok Tipping Skip is purpose-built for any site where frequent and repeated skip emptying is required and operator safety is a priority. On busy construction sites, the operator-in-cab safety feature removes the hazard of the driver leaving the machine to release a manual catch โ particularly valuable on high-traffic areas, live sites and projects with strict health and safety protocols. Typical uses include transferring general site waste, demolition rubble, concrete offcuts, brick and block offcuts, metal swarf and packaging into larger yard skips at height. The 4-way fork chassis makes the IATS-2D equally at home in recycling centres, waste transfer stations, manufacturing plants and logistics depots where space is limited and fork approach direction cannot always be guaranteed. Hire companies benefit from a low-maintenance, mechanical design that can be deployed across multiple sites without the complications of hydraulic or electrical servicing.
Warning:
Never exceed the 2,000kg rated Safe Working Load. Do not empty the skip whilst the forks are in the side entry pockets โ this could unbalance the fork truck. Do not transport the skip around site in the discharged position, and never attempt rectification or re-operation while the skip is elevated. In the event of a failure, return the skip safely to floor level before inspection.
The Auto-Lok Tipping Skip is manufactured in the UK by Invicta Forks & Attachments in accordance with EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. All lifting equipment used on UK construction sites must comply with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER). Thorough examinations under LOLER must be carried out every 6 months by a competent person and the results recorded in writing.
The skip must be inspected before each use and again on a weekly basis, with particular attention paid to all weld points, wear and distortion of the fork pockets and heel pin attachments, any damaged components, and the locks, latches and springs of the Auto-Lok mechanism. Any damage or failure must be reported and rectified immediately before the skip is returned to service. Ensure the damper and locking mechanism are in full working order and free from debris. Treat surface rusting โ especially around critical areas โ with proprietary inhibitors, primers and paint on a regular basis. A thorough examination by a competent person under LOLER 1998 must be carried out every 6 months and the results recorded in writing.
The IATS-2D is a fork-mounted tipping skip used for collecting and emptying site waste, rubble, demolition spoil, metal swarf and general construction debris into larger yard skips or waste containers. The Auto-Lok is a purely mechanical system. When the operator drives the forks into the pockets and lifts the skip clear of the ground, the mechanism automatically engages and locks the skip to the forks. It remains locked throughout the lift and tip, and only disengages when the skip is placed back down onto a solid, level surface. There are no hydraulics or electrics involved, meaning no power supply is required and maintenance is kept to a minimum.

All rentals are delivered and collected by the WOLFF Onsite team. We'll confirm a delivery time that works for you and arrange collection within 3 working days of your hire end date. Deliveries and collections between 8amโ5pm, Monday to Friday, Saturday collections can be arranged if suitable.
