How to Use the Steel Mortar Skip

1. Place the skip on a flat, level surface before filling. Do not exceed the rated Safe Working Load (SWL) shown on the type plate.
2. Fill the skip evenly, ensuring the load is distributed across the base and does not exceed the height of the sides.
3. For crane lifting, attach a suitably rated 4-leg chain sling to the crane lugs. Ensure all hooks are fully closed and secure before lifting.
4. For forklift transport, insert forks fully into the fork pockets. Ensure the load is stable and balanced before moving.
5. Raise the skip slowly off the ground and check for balance and load security before proceeding.
6. Move the load to the intended delivery area, avoiding sudden or jolting movements.
