The Eichinger Forklift Tipping Skip (Model 2013) is a heavy-duty tipping skip designed for the safe, efficient movement and disposal of waste materials on construction sites, factories and industrial facilities. Built in Germany by Florian Eichinger GmbH, the 2013 features a high square container with four-way fork pocket entry, allowing the forklift driver to approach and dock from any direction without repositioning the skip. The doubly arranged docking pockets in the massive section frame mean the container can be tipped both in and transverse to the driving direction, providing maximum flexibility on congested sites. A curved pivoting and tipping mechanism ensures an optimum load centre of mass throughout the discharge cycle, preventing sudden weight shifts. The automatic roller release system allows the driver to tip the skip from any position via a cable pull from the driver's seat, keeping all operatives safely in the cab. Every unit is supplied with a fixed heel pin and tear-drop safety catch to prevent accidental discharge during transit. How to Use the Forklift Tipping Skip

1. Approach the skip with the forklift and insert forks fully into the fork pockets from any direction. Ensure the heel pins engage and the tear-drop safety catch locks into position.
2. Before filling, check that the safety catch is secure and the skip is firmly locked to the forks.
3. Fill the skip evenly, ensuring the load does not exceed the rated Safe Working Load (SWL) shown on the type plate and is kept below the height of the skip sides.
4. Transport the skip to the discharge area. Avoid sudden braking, sharp turns or jolting movements.
5. Position the skip over the discharge point (e.g. above a waste container, skip lorry or designated dump area).
6. Pull the cable from the driver's seat to release the automatic roller mechanism. The skip will tip forward under the weight of the load.
7. Allow the skip to discharge fully. The roller mechanism will automatically re-engage when the skip returns to the upright position.
8. Check that the safety catch has re-engaged before transporting the empty skip.
9. After use, clean the skip as required. For oil or liquid waste, ensure the welded seams are intact and free of damage.

Warning: Never stand in the discharge zone during tipping operations. Ensure the area is clear of all personnel before operating the cable pull.

Certification and Compliance

This product is CE marked and supplied with a full EC Declaration of Conformity in accordance with the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. A UKCA certificate is also provided where required for the Great Britain market. Following Brexit, the UK government has confirmed indefinite recognition of CE marking for lifting equipment in Great Britain, meaning businesses can use either UKCA or CE marked accessories provided the equipment is accompanied by a Declaration of Conformity (DoC). The skip is manufactured under a DIN ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system, and independently tested by TÜV Nord for product and workplace safety (GS — Tested Safety mark). The forklift tipping skip must be inspected before each use and undergo a thorough examination at least every 12 months by a competent person in accordance with LOLER 1998. All inspections must be documented and any defects rectified immediately before the equipment is returned to service. Regular cleaning after each use will extend the working life of the skip — pay particular attention to the roller mechanism, pivot points, cable pull system, heel pin and tear-drop safety catch.
