Crane-lifted concrete column skip with integrated bale arm for single-point crane attachment. Also known as a Tremie Skip. Five capacities from 500l to 2000l, supplied complete with 3-metre discharge hose.
The Conquip Concrete Skip With Bale Arm, also known as a Tremie Skip, is a versatile concrete pouring skip designed for use in columns, walls, and narrow formwork. The integrated bale arm provides a single-point crane attachment, eliminating the need for a separate four-leg chain sling. Each skip is supplied complete with a 3-metre length of reinforced rubber discharge hose with pull rope for controlled, accurate pours into deep or restricted placements. The range covers five capacities from 500 litres to 2000 litres. A reinforced gate mechanism with strong spring retractor ensures automatic closing when pouring is complete, while the integrated deflector plate prevents concrete splashing personnel or contaminating the ground below. A grout tray collects any excess concrete during flow gate operation, and a safety restraint chain keeps the bale arm secure when the skip is not in use. The skip is designed to lay horizontally on the ground for filling directly from a concrete truck.
Each skip supplied with 3-metre reinforced rubber discharge hose, pull rope, deflector plate, grout tray, and safety restraint chain.

The following optional modifications are available to improve safety and flexibility on site:
The Concrete Skip With Bale Arm, or Tremie Skip, is the standard concrete-pouring solution on RC frame, structural concrete, and major civils projects. It is widely used for column pours, lift shaft pours, ground beam pours, narrow formwork, and any tall or restricted placement where the conical bottom and controlled gate discharge are needed for accurate pour control. The 500l and 750l sizes suit small infill columns. The 1000l and 1500l sizes cover most standard column and beam pours. The 2000l size suits larger structural elements where minimising crane cycles is a priority.
Warning: Concrete weight must be calculated and confirmed within the skip's safe working capacity. Wet concrete weighs approximately 2400 kg/m3. Never exceed the rated capacity. Inspect before every use under LOLER 1998. The bale arm must be in the upright lifting position and fully engaged with the crane hook before any lift commences. Never stand directly beneath a loaded concrete skip during lifting or pouring.
By the single lifting point on the top of the bale arm. No separate chain sling is required. The bale arm folds upright to engage the crane hook and folds back during filling.
This Concrete Skip is designed to lay horizontally on the ground and be filled directly from a concrete truck. The bale arm folds out of the way during filling.
Each skip is supplied complete with a 3-metre length of reinforced rubber discharge hose, pull rope, deflector plate, grout tray, spring retractor for the discharge gate, and a safety restraint chain for the bale arm.
A range of customisations are available, including modifications that improve safety on-site: an Extended Flow Gate Handle and a Hose Guide that keep operatives away from the danger zone under the skip, a Bauer Connection for switching between hose lengths, and a Blowout Attachment for clearing concrete pump lines.
"Tremie" is a traditional concreting term for a pipe or hose used to deliver wet concrete into a formwork from above. Because this skip is supplied with a 3-metre discharge hose for accurate pours into deep or narrow placements, it has long been known by the construction industry as a Tremie Skip.
