More About This Product

The Invicta Static Bulk Bag Hopper (Model ISBBH-1) is an ideal and versatile attachment for filling bulk bags safely and effectively. The bags are placed on an empty pallet and then suspended on 4 hooks which allow quick fitment whilst holding the bag securely in place during the filling operation. The hopper is manufactured with in-built fork sleeves in the base for easy repositioning around site. The 1500 x 1500mm hopper opening and reduced-height loading lip make filling easy. Manufactured in Leeds by Invicta Forks & Attachments.

Suitable Applications

The ISBBH is ideal for quarries, recycling centres, waste management sites, builders merchants, aggregate suppliers and farms where bulk bags need to be filled with sand, gravel, aggregate, soil, grain or other loose materials.
A bag is only as safe as its loops — check them before every lift. For drums see drum grabs, and for loose material a fork-mounted skip.

How to Use the Static Bulk Bag Hopper

  1. Position the hopper on level ground.
  2. Place an empty pallet beneath the hopper.
  3. Place an empty bulk bag on the pallet.
  4. Suspend the bag on the 4 hooks.
  5. Fill the bag using a loading shovel, excavator or conveyor.
  6. Once full, release the hooks and remove the filled bag with a forklift.

Warning:
Ensure the hopper is on stable, level ground before filling. Do not exceed the rated capacity of the bulk bag.

Safety Information

  • Ensure the hopper is on stable, level ground.
  • Ensure the bag is securely suspended on all 4 hooks.
  • Keep clear of the hopper during filling operations.

Inspection and Maintenance

Inspect regularly — focus on hooks, weld points and fork sleeves.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I move the hopper with a forklift?
