Buying guide

Fixed position, higher duty

Static tables are installed where the lift happens in one place — a packing station, a machine feed, a loading point. Without the need to move, they can carry more and take a heavier duty cycle than mobile equivalents.

Pit mounted or surface mounted

Surface mounting is simpler but leaves a step at the lowered position. Pit mounting brings the platform flush with the floor so pallets can be rolled straight on, at the cost of civil work. Decide this before ordering, as it affects the frame.

Common questions

Does it need a pit?

Only if you need the platform flush with the floor. Surface mounting works where loads are placed on by forklift or hoist rather than rolled on.

How is it powered?

Usually a hydraulic power pack. Confirm the supply available at the installation point when ordering.
