Counterbalanced stackers with no straddle legs, for reaching over obstructions and loading onto benches and machines. For heavier lifts to racking, see our powered stackers, or hand stackers for lighter manual work.
Counterbalanced stackers carry the load ahead of the wheels with a counterweight at the rear, so there are no outrigger legs to get in the way. That lets them reach loads a straddle stacker cannot — over an obstruction, into a machine, or onto a bench.
The trade-off is footprint
The counterweight makes the machine heavier and longer than a straddle equivalent of the same capacity. Check the weight against any floor loading limit and the length against your aisles.
Common questions
When is a counterbalanced stacker the right choice?
When straddle legs would foul the load or the surrounding equipment — reaching over an obstruction, or loading onto a bench or machine.
Are they heavier?
Yes, because of the counterweight. Worth checking against mezzanine or upper floor loading limits.
