WOLFF Onsite offer a self evacuation course. The aim is to provide practical experience and education in the safe use of relevant equipment, to enable a safe self evacuation in the event of an emergency.

Course Overview

WOLFF rescue systems are currently in use on a wide variety of structures, spanning many industries. Simplicity of use combined with specific training makes it easy to achieve a competent onsite rescue provision. This provides a vital link between your workforce and emergency services.

Who is this course for?

All Operators of mechanical handling equipment.

What to expect

Course aim:

The course is designed and delivered using BS8454 (code of practice for the delivery of training and education for work at height and rescue) and IRATA, the international code of practice and equipment manufacturers technical instruction.

Pre-training requirements:
 
  • Reasonable level of health, fitness and aptitude.
  • It is recommended that you choose personnel who are already competent at working at height and using work at height PPE.

Instructor to student ratio:

  • 1:6 maximum

Certification:

  • Delegates will continuously be assessed throughout the training - upon completion of training, a certificate will be issued which is valid for 1 year.
  • An additional day’s training is available should you wish to refresh your knowledge or train another person.
 

Course Details

Course Length: 1 day

Assessment: Continuous assessment throughout with written and practical examination

Requirements: Over 18s, personnel competent working at height

Certifications: Yes. Valid for 1 year

Training Cost: £1,200 for upto 6 people

The rescue system should be regularly inspected to ensure that it has not been damaged, opened or otherwise compromised. Contact Heightworks Ltd if a thorough examination is required or the equipment inspection date period has expired. Self Evacuation Rescue System available to purchase separately.
