Traditional cycle shelters are supplied as an initial bay with extension bays added to reach the length you need. Work out capacity from the number of stands, then check the footprint against the space available including clearance to get bikes in and out.
Roof and side panels come in perforated steel, galvanised sheet and polycarbonate. Perforated panels give a lighter look and let air through; solid panels give more weather protection. Galvanised finishes suit exposed sites, powder coating suits where appearance matters.
Shelters arrive as large fabricated assemblies and are delivered kerbside without offloading, so arrange a forklift or HIAB. Most need a prepared base and fixing down — check the ground conditions and any planning conditions before ordering.
Start from the number of bikes, which gives the number of stands, then check the overall footprint fits including space to manoeuvre bikes in and out.
The initial bay is the complete standalone unit. Extension bays add length by sharing an end frame with the bay before them, so they cost less than a second initial bay.
Kerbside, as large fabricated assemblies. Offloading is not included — arrange a forklift or HIAB, and allow for a prepared base and fixing down.
