Mobile Lift Tables

Working height, not just capacity

The two figures that matter are the lowered height and the raised height. Lowered height decides whether a pallet or a load can be rolled on at all; raised height decides whether the work can be done standing rather than stooping. Capacity is usually the easier constraint to meet.

Manual, foot or powered

Foot-pump tables suit occasional lifts and need no power. Powered tables suit repeated cycles through a shift, where pumping becomes the bottleneck. If the table will be used continuously, the operator effort is worth more thought than the price difference.

Loading it evenly

Scissor lift tables assume the load sits centrally. Loading to one end or one side reduces the safe capacity significantly and is the most common cause of premature wear. If loads will be placed off-centre, say so and we will specify accordingly.

Common questions
What height do I need?

Work from both ends. The lowered height has to accept the load, and the raised height has to bring the work to a comfortable position. Both are quoted for every table.

Can I load it off-centre?

Not to full capacity. Off-centre loading reduces the rating and shortens the life of the mechanism. Tables can be specified for eccentric loading if you need it.

Manual or powered?

Manual suits occasional use. If the table is cycled repeatedly through a shift, powered is worth the difference in operator fatigue alone.
