The EX18L sits between the ultralight EY range and the full-size CX trucks: 1800kg capacity, 170kg service weight, and the fastest travel speed in the pedestrian range at 5.0 km/h laden. Lithium technology gives it opportunity charging and no battery maintenance, and at 80mm lowered it has the lowest entry height of any powered truck in the Lifter catalogue. It is listed while stock lasts, so it is a limited-availability line rather than a long-term catalogue item.

Key Features
- 5.0 km/h laden — the fastest pedestrian truck in the range, which over a long warehouse translates directly into cycle time.
- 80mm lowered height — the lowest entry of any powered Lifter truck, so it handles shallow and damaged pallets others cannot.
- 1800kg capacity — above the EY20L at 2000kg only marginally, but in a more substantial 170kg chassis built for warehouse rather than vehicle work.
- Lithium technology — opportunity charging, no watering, no gassing and no dedicated charging area.
- Tandem poly loading rollers — four contact points spreading the load, easing entry over pallet boards.
- Limited availability — listed whilst stock lasts, so confirm availability before committing to it as a fleet standard.
Suitable Applications
The EX18L suits warehouse and distribution work over longer travel distances, where its speed advantage pays back, and any operation handling shallow or awkward pallets that a standard 85mm truck cannot enter. Given the whilst-stock-lasts status, it is better suited to a one-off or top-up purchase than to standardising a fleet. For a long-term fleet choice, the CX14 or EY20L are the catalogue lines.
How to Use
- Check battery charge and confirm the load is within the rated capacity.
- Lower the forks fully and enter the pallet squarely, driving the forks home.
- Raise just clear of the floor using the tiller controls.
- Travel with the tiller in the operating position, keeping the truck in view and pedestrians clear.
- Release the butterfly control to brake; the truck stops automatically if the tiller is released.
- Lower, release the load and withdraw the forks squarely.
- Return the truck to the charge point at the end of the shift.
Warning: This model is supplied whilst stock lasts. Do not standardise a fleet on it without confirming ongoing availability with Pramac.
Safety Information
- Only trained and authorised operators should use a powered pallet truck.
- Travel at a pace appropriate to the floor, the load and the people around you.
- Keep feet clear of the wheels; a powered truck does not stop instantly.
- Never carry passengers and never ride on a pedestrian truck.
- Lower the forks fully before leaving the truck and before charging.
- Charge in a well-ventilated area following the battery manufacturer's instructions.
Inspection and Maintenance
Check battery charge, brake function, wheels and forks before each shift, and confirm the truck stops when the tiller is released. Keep drive and load wheels clear of banding and wrap. Battery care depends on type: lead-acid needs topping up on schedule, gel and lithium do not. Powered trucks fall under PUWER; keep inspection records and withdraw anything that fails a check.
What's Included

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is it still available?
It is listed whilst stock lasts on the 2026 price list. Confirm current availability before ordering, particularly for multiple units.
Q: Why is it faster than the other trucks?
It is geared for 5.0 km/h laden against 4.0-4.4 km/h on the EY and CX ranges. Over a long warehouse run that is a meaningful reduction in cycle time.
Q: What does lithium change day to day?
No topping up with water, no gassing so no dedicated charging room, and you can charge during breaks without shortening battery life.
