Lifting-gear specialists in Sheffield & London — phone & email

The GX is built around one number: 800mm overall width, the same as a Europallet. That lets it work in aisles sized for the pallet rather than for the truck, which in a tight warehouse is the difference between a layout that works and one that does not. It combines a lateral driving position, a wide mast and a low cover for visibility, and it has a built-in battery charger with integrated cable and Schuko plug, so it is genuinely plug-and-play rather than needing a separate charging installation.

Manufacturer Assurance

Lifter by Pramac is backed by over 40 years of material handling equipment manufacture. All Lifter by Pramac products are designed to meet 100% compliance with current standard regulations, and are subject to internal quality testing for reliability and durability.

Overall width 800mm and aisle width 2210mm across the range. Travel 4.7 km/h laden, 5.2 km/h unladen. Drive motor 0.7 kW with electric service brake. Li-ion battery (HZ000S0000Y) and auto-levelling (HZ000S0000U) are available on EVO models.

Key Features

  • 800mm overall width — the same as a Europallet, so aisles can be planned around the load rather than the truck.
  • Built-in charger with Schuko plug — plug it into a socket at the end of a shift — no separate charger to buy, site or trip over.
  • Lateral driving position and low cover — the combination of side guide, wide mast and low cover gives visibility of the forks and the load that a conventional mast obstructs.
  • Duplex, triplex and freelift masts — freelift raises the forks before the mast extends, which is what lets the truck work in a container or under a low doorway.
  • Removable ABS cover with storage — comes off quickly for access to the motor wheel, portal and tiller without lifting the machine.
  • Ergonomic tiller with fingertip controls — throttle and fork controls on the tiller head, so the operator keeps both hands in position.

Suitable Applications

The GX is the stacker for narrow-aisle warehousing where the layout is built around Europallets: distribution, retail back-of-house, food and pharmaceutical stores, and light manufacturing. The freelift models are the ones to specify if the truck has to work inside containers or through low openings. The Basic Adj. Straddle UK model handles closed-bottom pallets and stillages. Watch residual capacity on the taller masts — the 12/42 carries 400kg at full height against 1200kg nominal.

How to Use

  1. Check the load is within the residual capacity at the height you intend to lift to, not just the nominal rating.
  2. Confirm battery charge and that the forks and mast are clear of damage.
  3. Enter the pallet squarely with the forks fully lowered and drive them home.
  4. Raise just clear of the floor to travel; never travel with the load at height.
  5. Position square to the racking, check overhead clearance, then raise to the required level.
  6. Enter the racking, set the load down, withdraw squarely and lower fully before moving off.
  7. Return the truck to the charge point at the end of the shift.

Warning: Residual capacity falls sharply with mast height on this range: 1200kg at 2410mm but only 400kg at 4100mm. Operators must work to the residual figure for the model and height, not the nominal rating on the data plate.

Safety Information

  • Only trained and authorised operators should use a stacker.
  • Never travel with the load raised; lower fully before moving.
  • Never allow anyone to stand or pass under raised forks.
  • Check overhead clearance and floor condition before lifting.
  • Observe the residual capacity at height, which is lower than the nominal rating.
  • Charge only in a well-ventilated area and lower the forks before charging.

Inspection and Maintenance

Check the mast channels, chains, rollers and forks before each shift, along with battery charge and the brake. Chains stretch and must be inspected and adjusted at the manufacturer's interval — a neglected chain is the most common serious fault on a stacker. Keep the mast clear of debris and wrap. Stackers are lifting equipment as well as work equipment, so they fall under LOLER as well as PUWER: keep inspection records and arrange thorough examination at the required interval.

What's Included

  • GX electric stacker in the model and mast ordered
  • Gel or lithium battery to the build specified
  • Built-in charger with integrated cable and Schuko plug
  • Operator manual

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why does the 800mm width matter?

It matches a Europallet, so your aisle width is set by the load rather than by the truck. In a tight warehouse that can be the difference between fitting an extra racking run and not.

Q: What is a freelift mast?

It raises the forks a useful distance before the mast itself extends. That lets the truck lift inside a container or under a low doorway where a standard mast would hit the roof.

Q: Duplex or triplex?

Duplex has two mast sections, triplex three. Triplex gives more lift from a lower closed height, which matters where the truck passes through doorways or works in low buildings.

Q: Does it need a separate charger?

No. A charger is built in with an integrated cable and Schuko plug, so it charges from a standard socket.
