Lifting-gear specialists in Sheffield & London — phone & email

The RX sits between the TX and the fully electric ranges: it powers both travel and lift, but in a compact chassis closer in footprint to a semi-electric machine. At 794mm overall width and 2120mm aisle width it works in tighter aisles than the TX, and travel at 3.7 km/h laden means the operator is not pushing 1000kg by hand. Four builds are offered, including EVO gel and EVO lithium versions, with the lithium model reaching 1910mm lift.

Manufacturer Assurance

Lifter by Pramac is backed by over 40 years of material handling equipment manufacture. All Lifter by Pramac products are designed to meet 100% compliance with current standard regulations, and are subject to internal quality testing for reliability and durability.

Service weight 371kg including battery. Overall length 1675mm, overall width 794mm, aisle width 2120mm, turning radius 1344mm. Travel 3.7 km/h laden, 4.3 km/h unladen. Lifting 0.12 m/s laden. Drive motor 0.35 kW with electric service brake.

Key Features

  • Powered travel and lift — the operator walks with the truck rather than pushing it, which changes what is achievable over a full shift.
  • 2120mm aisle width — tighter than the TX at 2336mm, so it fits layouts a semi-electric stacker will not.
  • Electric service brake — powered braking rather than relying on the operator, which matters on any gradient or smooth floor.
  • Lithium option reaching 1910mm — the EVO Li-ion model adds 400mm of lift and opportunity charging without a battery change.
  • 371kg service weight — substantial enough to be stable at 1000kg but still manageable in a compact warehouse.
  • Full 1000kg at full height — residual capacity matches nominal across the range.

Suitable Applications

The RX suits warehouses and stores with narrow aisles and moderate travel distances: retail back-of-house, pharmacy and medical stores, light manufacturing, and anywhere the aisle plan rules out a wider truck. The lithium EVO model is the one to specify for multi-shift operation, since it can be charged in breaks rather than needing a full cycle or a spare battery. Note that the standard GEL model is discontinued and available to special order only, so for new fleets the EVO builds are the sensible choice.

How to Use

  1. Check the load is within the residual capacity at the height you intend to lift to, not just the nominal rating.
  2. Confirm battery charge and that the forks and mast are clear of damage.
  3. Enter the pallet squarely with the forks fully lowered and drive them home.
  4. Raise just clear of the floor to travel; never travel with the load at height.
  5. Position square to the racking, check overhead clearance, then raise to the required level.
  6. Enter the racking, set the load down, withdraw squarely and lower fully before moving off.
  7. Return the truck to the charge point at the end of the shift.

Warning: Never travel with the load raised. At 371kg plus a 1000kg load, a powered stacker carries real momentum — approach corners and pedestrians at walking pace.

Safety Information

  • Only trained and authorised operators should use a stacker.
  • Never travel with the load raised; lower fully before moving.
  • Never allow anyone to stand or pass under raised forks.
  • Check overhead clearance and floor condition before lifting.
  • Observe the residual capacity at height, which is lower than the nominal rating.
  • Charge only in a well-ventilated area and lower the forks before charging.

Inspection and Maintenance

Check the mast channels, chains, rollers and forks before each shift, along with battery charge and the brake. Chains stretch and must be inspected and adjusted at the manufacturer's interval — a neglected chain is the most common serious fault on a stacker. Keep the mast clear of debris and wrap. Stackers are lifting equipment as well as work equipment, so they fall under LOLER as well as PUWER: keep inspection records and arrange thorough examination at the required interval.

What's Included

  • RX stacker in the build ordered
  • Battery to the type specified (standard, gel or lithium)
  • Operator manual

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: RX or TX?

The TX is pushed by hand with powered lift. The RX powers travel as well, and fits a narrower aisle. If operators are covering distance or the aisles are tight, the RX is the better machine.

Q: Is the GEL model still available?

The standard RX 10/16 GEL is discontinued and supplied to special order only. For new purchases the EVO GEL or EVO Li-ion builds are the current specification.

Q: What does the lithium version add?

1910mm lift instead of 1510mm, and opportunity charging — you can put it on charge during breaks without harming the battery, which suits multi-shift working.

Q: Will it fit my aisles?

Aisle width is 2120mm and turning radius 1344mm. Measure your working aisle before ordering and allow for the operator position as well as the truck.
