The TX is the semi-electric stacker: powered lift, manual travel. The operator pushes the truck but the forks are raised electrically, which removes the pumping that limits how many times a manual stacker can realistically be used in a shift. Seven models cover 810mm to 3410mm lift at 1000kg or 1200kg. The 12 series carries polyurethane wheels as standard to reduce rolling resistance at full load, and a start key with battery cut-off isolator acts as an emergency control, cutting power to the lift entirely.

Suitable Applications
The TX suits general warehousing, stockrooms, production feeding and retail back-of-house where stacking is regular but travel distances are short. Because travel is manual it works best in compact areas — a machine pushed fifty metres each way all day will tire an operator regardless of powered lift. The straddle model is the answer for closed-bottom pallets, stillages and drums. Where travel distance or frequency is high, step up to the NX or LX fully electric ranges.
How to Use
- Check the load is within the residual capacity at the height you intend to lift to, not just the nominal rating.
- Confirm battery charge and that the forks and mast are clear of damage.
- Enter the pallet squarely with the forks fully lowered and drive them home.
- Raise just clear of the floor to travel; never travel with the load at height.
- Position square to the racking, check overhead clearance, then raise to the required level.
- Enter the racking, set the load down, withdraw squarely and lower fully before moving off.
- Return the truck to the charge point at the end of the shift.
Warning: Residual capacity falls with height on the taller models: the TX 12/29 carries 800kg at full elevation and the TX 12/35 only 600kg, against a 1200kg nominal rating. Operators must know the figure for the model they are on.
Safety Information

Inspection and Maintenance
Check the mast channels, chains, rollers and forks before each shift, along with battery charge and the brake. Chains stretch and must be inspected and adjusted at the manufacturer's interval — a neglected chain is the most common serious fault on a stacker. Keep the mast clear of debris and wrap. Stackers are lifting equipment as well as work equipment, so they fall under LOLER as well as PUWER: keep inspection records and arrange thorough examination at the required interval.
