Drums are the most awkward load in most stores — heavy, unstable, and impossible to grip. Lifts to 1500mm and rotates the drum through a hand-wheel, so decanting happens at height under control rather than by tipping at floor level.

Handling 140 and 210 litre drums, with an infinitely controlled dead-man release so the drum is placed rather than dropped. Overload protection and a parking brake are fitted as standard.

Key Features

  • Manual hydraulic operation — controlled lift with no power supply required
  • Dead-man hand release wheel — infinitely controlled lowering for precise placement
  • High push/pull handlebar — keeps the operator upright and in control of the load
  • Overload valve and parking brake — fitted as standard
  • Polyurethane tyres and swivel wheels — manoeuvrable and non-marking on finished floors
  • Drum suitability — steel and plastic drums

CE Marked | 12-Month On-Site Warranty

Supplied by Warrior, part of the Handling Equipment UK range. Manufactured to CE / UKCA standards and supplied with a declaration of conformity where applicable.

Warranty

Every Warrior product is supplied with a full 12-month on-site warranty covering parts and labour at no additional cost. Cover starts from the date of delivery and repairs are carried out at your premises rather than under a return-to-base arrangement. A comprehensive UK spare parts stock is held for every model in the range, and servicing, repair and statutory inspection can be arranged through WOLFF Onsite.

Suitable Applications

Chemical stores, paint and coatings, food and beverage production, waste and recycling, agriculture, and any operation decanting or moving drummed liquids.

How to Use

  1. Position the unit square to the drum and apply the parking brake.
  2. Engage the drum, confirming the clamp or jaws are fully seated on the lip.
  3. Lift clear of the floor, keeping the drum upright.
  4. Move at walking pace with the drum low.
  5. Lower under control and release only once the drum is fully supported.

Warning: Never move a leaking or damaged drum. Confirm the clamp is fully engaged on the lip before lifting — a partial grip will release under load.

Safety Information

  • Confirm the drum is correctly seated and the clamp or jaws are fully engaged before lifting.
  • Never move a drum that is leaking or damaged.
  • Keep the load low while travelling.
  • Do not exceed the rated capacity or attempt to lift a drum outside the stated diameter range.
  • Apply the parking brake before releasing the drum.

Inspection and Maintenance

Inspect the jaws, clamp faces and lifting mechanism weekly for wear and distortion. Check the hydraulic unit for leaks. Confirm the parking brake holds on a slope.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will it fit my drums?

The range handles standard 140 and 210 litre steel and plastic drums. Confirm your drum diameter (typically 572mm for a 210 litre) and whether it has a rolled top lip, as some models grip the lip.

Q: Can it handle plastic drums?

Yes — this model is rated for both steel and plastic drums.

Q: Can I decant from height?

The WRDTPL45 tipping stacker and the WRHK285C tippler are designed for controlled pouring. The plain drum porters lift and move but do not rotate.

Q: Does it need a power supply?

No — manual hydraulic operation throughout.

Q: What is covered by the warranty?

A full 12 months from delivery, parts and labour, carried out on your site.
