The Conquip Compact Chain Storage Rack is a flat-back, space-saving alternative to the standard A-frame, designed for inner-city sites and projects where ground space is at a premium. Its slim profile sits flush against a wall or container, or fits inside standard site cabin stores — keeping chains, slings and accessories organised and compliant without consuming a full storage footprint. Available in a 6-hook Single Row configuration (600kg WLL) or an 11-hook Double Row configuration (1,100kg WLL), with an optional separate lockable toolbox for smaller components and certificate storage.

Key Features

  • Flat-Back Compact Design -- Sits flush against a wall, container or inside standard site cabin stores -- ideal where ground space is limited.
  • Single or Double Row Options -- Choose 6 hooks (Single Row, 600kg WLL) or 11 hooks (Double Row, 1,100kg WLL) to match the volume of gear on your site.
  • 100kg Per Hook WLL -- Each overhead hook is rated to a 100kg Working Load Limit, accommodating a broad range of chain slings.
  • Integrated Certificate Box -- Keeps LOLER test certificates dry and stored with the gear they relate to.
  • Crane Pickups and Fork Pockets -- Repositionable when empty using crane or forklift.
  • Optional Lockable Toolbox -- Supplied separately -- adds secure storage for smaller items or a quarantine area for retagging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will the rack fit inside a standard site cabin store?

Yes -- the Compact Chain Storage Rack was designed specifically to fit inside standard site stores and cabins, and against walls and containers, maximising available ground space on small or inner-city sites.

Q: What is the difference between Single Row and Double Row?

The Single Row version has 6 overhead hooks and a 600kg overall Working Load Limit. The Double Row version has 11 overhead hooks and a 1,100kg WLL, suited to sites carrying larger inventories of lifting gear.

Q: Can I lift and move the rack while loaded?

No. Always empty the rack before relocating. Use the crane lifting points or forklift pockets only when the rack is unloaded.

Q: How does the optional toolbox work?

The toolbox is supplied as a separate, lockable unit. Sites typically use it as a weatherproof home for test reports, secure storage for smaller accessories, or as a quarantine area for items requiring retagging or disposal.
