How to Use the Yale HCH Fabric Chain Bag

1. Position the bag under the hoist: The bag hangs below the hoist body, attached at the dedicated fixings.
2. Attach the bag: Following supplied instructions, secure the bag using the supplied fixings.
3. Verify free chain travel: Manually operate the hoist through full range, confirming chain feeds smoothly into the bag.
4. In use: Slack chain self-collects automatically as the hoist lifts.
5. After use: Remove the bag from the hoist (chain inside if appropriate), fold or roll for storage and transport.
6. Periodic inspection: Inspect the fabric at each LOLER examination for tears, abrasion, or fixing damage. Replace if compromised.

Warning: Yale hoists and trolleys are not designed for passenger elevation applications. The fabric bag is rated for 25 m of chain. Do not overload by exceeding the rated chain length, this could cause the bag to tear or fail.
