The Conquip Excavator Lifting Platform is a heavy-duty steel platform with timber load bed, supplied with a matched spreader beam, for crane-lifting excavators safely into tunnels, shafts and basement excavations where wide-load transport is impractical. Telescopic I-beams let the platform travel to site at standard width and extend on arrival to suit the load, with multiple lifting eyes on the spreader beam permitting chain adjustment to match. Tie-down points secure the excavator before lifting, and ramped access on both sides lets it drive on and off under its own power.

Key Features

  • 30-tonne capacity covers most tracked excavators used in confined-space groundworks
  • Telescopic I-beams retract for road transport without a wide-load permit
  • Spreader beam included with multiple lifting eyes for chain adjustment to match load
  • Ramped access both sides allows the excavator to drive on and off under its own power
  • Tie-down points around the platform allow the excavator to be secured with load binders before lifting
  • Engineering and lift-planning support available from Conquip's pre-construction team
  • Repeated-use construction designed for projects requiring multiple level changes

More About This Product

The Conquip Excavator Lifting Platform is a heavy-duty steel platform with a timber load bed, supplied with a matched spreader beam, designed for crane-lifting excavators safely into tunnels, shafts and basement excavations where wide-load transport is impractical. Telescopic I-beams allow the platform to be transported to site at standard width and extended on arrival to suit the load. Multiple lifting eyes on the spreader beam base permit chain adjustment to match load width. Tie-down points around the platform secure the excavator before lifting and ramped access on both sides allows the excavator to drive on and off under its own power.

Suitable Applications

The Excavator Lifting Platform is the standard solution for tunnelling, basement excavations, shaft sinking, infrastructure projects with deep working levels, and any site where an excavator needs to be lifted in and out of a confined working area. Common applications include central London basements, station box excavations, deep drainage works and underground car parks. For lift planning support, Conquip's pre-construction engineering team can provide site-specific advice including load calculations and crane selection guidance.
