The Modulift MOD6 in its 3.0m configuration is a six-tonne modular spreader beam designed for two-point lifts where headroom matters and slings need to stay clear of the load. Bolt the supplied struts between the end units and you have a calibrated, certified spreader sized to the job — then unbolt, reconfigure, and use it again at a different span on the next lift.

Inspection and Maintenance

Inspect regularly with particular attention to bolt torque, flange faces, end units, drop links, lifting eyes and any signs of deformation or corrosion. Re-torque all flange connections to 60 Nm before each lift. Certified from manufacture — thorough examination under LOLER 1998 required every 6 months by a competent person.
