The Modulift MOD6 in its 3.0m configuration is a six-tonne modular spreader beam for two-point lifts where headroom matters and slings need to stay clear of the load. Bolt the supplied struts between the end units and you have a calibrated, certified spreader sized to the job — then unbolt, reconfigure, and use it again at a different span on the next lift.

DNV Type Approved | LOLER Compliant
This product is manufactured by Modulift Ltd and forms part of the DNV Type Approved Modulift Spreader Beam range. Each MOD6 beam is supplied with full test certification confirming the SWL ratings of 5 tonnes at 45° STV and 6 tonnes at 30° STV. The beam must be used in accordance with LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) and operated only by trained, competent personnel with a clear understanding of safe slinging procedures. Thorough examinations under LOLER 1998 are required every 6 months by a competent person.
A lifting beam has a single top attachment and works in bending, which makes it compact in headroom. Where the load is taken through slings at both ends, a spreader beam is lighter for the same capacity; for four-point support see lifting frames.
Inspection and Maintenance
Inspect regularly with particular attention to bolt torque, flange faces, end units, drop links, lifting eyes and any signs of deformation or corrosion. Re-torque all flange connections to 60 Nm before each lift. Certified from manufacture — thorough examination under LOLER 1998 required every 6 months by a competent person.
