Key Features

  • 22dB Noise Reduction - durable, washable acoustic sound panels across three sides significantly reduce the noise pollution created when cutting masonry, helping to maintain on-site health standards and minimise disturbance to nearby environments.
  • 440-Litre Slurry Sump - fully welded sump base contains all slurry and waste from cutting operations. The heavy-duty raised open steel floor allows concrete slurry to drain directly into the sump below.
  • 2" Threaded Sump Plug - allows connection to drainage and containment tanks for controlled disposal of slurry. Simply attach a suitable container and drain when the sump requires emptying.
  • 110V LED Strip Lighting - built-in lighting with cable access point provides increased visibility inside the booth at all times, supplied as standard with 110V plug for site power compatibility.
  • No Setup Required - the CuttingCube arrives ready to use, delivering a 90% time saving compared to constructing a traditional masonry cutting area on site.
  • Twin 5-Lever Deadlocks - heavy-duty lockable doors with anti-jemmy joins allow the CuttingCube to double as secure tool and equipment storage when not in use for cutting.
  • Door Stays - integrated catches safely secure the doors in the open position during cutting operations, preventing them from closing on the operator.
  • Crane Lifting Eyes - fitted as standard for easy positioning around site. Lifting eyes must be inspected by a qualified lifting operator before each lift.
  • Forklift Pockets - allow transportation via forklift or pallet truck for convenient repositioning.
  • Galvanised & Powder Coated - robust steel construction with galvanised panels and powder-coated finish for maximum durability and weather resistance.
  • Safety Signage - relevant warning signage is fitted as standard to support site safety compliance.
  • Fire-Resistant Panels - acoustic curtains are manufactured from fire-resistant material suitable for use around cutting operations.

Suitable Applications

The CuttingCube CC200 is designed for any construction site where masonry, concrete, or stone cutting creates noise, dust, and slurry that needs to be controlled. Typical applications include block and slab cutting for brickwork and groundworks, tile cutting for fit-out projects, and any wet-cutting operation where slurry containment is required. The lockable design means the unit can also serve as secure storage for cutting equipment, saws, and tools when not in active use.

How to Use the CuttingCube CC200

  1. Position the CuttingCube on a flat, solid surface using the crane lifting eyes or forklift pockets. Ensure the unit is level and stable before use.
  2. Connect the 110V LED lighting to a suitable site power supply via the cable access point.
  3. Open the doors and engage the door stays to hold them securely in the open position.
  4. Place materials to be cut on a pallet inside the booth. For safety, cutting should always be performed on a pallet with doors open.
  5. Turn on the LED lights for maximum visibility during cutting operations.
  6. Empty the sump regularly by connecting a suitable container to the 2" threaded sump plug and draining the collected slurry.
  7. When finished, disengage the door stays, close the doors, and lock both 5-lever deadlocks to secure the unit.

Warning: The CuttingCube weighs 460kg. Only qualified personnel should lift the unit, and it must be empty during lifting. A full risk assessment must be carried out before use, taking into account site conditions, location, and surroundings.

Safety Information

  • A full risk assessment must be carried out before use, considering site conditions, location, surroundings, and any other assessments required by the site operator.
  • The CuttingCube must be positioned on a flat, solid surface and be level and stable before use.
  • Ensure the unit is fully constructed and empty before lifting or moving. Only qualified personnel should lift the CuttingCube.
  • Lifting eyes are provided only for positioning - the unit must be empty whilst lifting. Each lifting eye must be checked and inspected by a lifting operator before use.
  • If dust builds up, allow it to disperse appropriately before continuing work.
  • The unit must be marked up with all relevant safety signage, which should be heeded at all times.
  • Any operator using the CuttingCube must be fully trained and familiar with the risk assessment.
  • We recommend an Armorgard SaniStation be placed nearby and configured as a safety point for fast access to PPE and first aid equipment.

Inspection and Maintenance

The CuttingCube is constructed from galvanised steel with a powder-coated finish, making it suitable for outdoor use in demanding site conditions. The sump should be emptied regularly to prevent slurry from overfilling - connect a suitable container to the 2" sump plug and dispose of waste safely in accordance with site regulations. The acoustic curtains should be regularly cleaned with a pressure washer to ensure best performance. If curtain rails need to be removed, unbolt them carefully using the brackets. Curtains can be replaced by attaching to the rails using cable ties.

What's Included

Each CuttingCube CC200 is supplied complete with 3 keys (keyed alike for both locks), 110V LED strip lighting, acoustic sound panels, door stays, relevant safety signage, and an operational and maintenance manual. No assembly is required - the unit arrives ready to use.
