The Armorgard SiteStation SS2 is a purpose-built mobile workstation designed to serve as a site office or central hub, allowing site managers, BIM managers, and supervisors to stay close to the action. Split into two independently lockable compartments, the SS2 features a 110V LED light and two 110V power sockets for charging tools and batteries, a folding slanted work surface ideal for displaying plans and drawings, and a door-mounted document organiser for keeping paperwork to hand. Constructed from 1.5mm powder-coated steel with robust chamfered edges, the unit is secured by keyed-alike 5-lever deadlocks and comes complete with heavy-duty 6" castors, forklift skids, and crane lifting eyes for easy relocation around site.

How to Use the SiteStation SS2

1. Fit the castors to the unit using the included castor kit - lift the empty unit onto a stable platform and bolt the castors into the forklift skids using a 13mm socket and M8 nylocks. Fit the 2 fixed castors on one side and the 2 swivel-braked castors on the opposite side (same side as the handle).
2. Position the SiteStation at your work location and engage both castor brakes.
3. Connect a 110V supply to the rear socket to power the internal sockets and LED light.
4. Use the folding shelf as a slanted work surface for plans and drawings, or raise it and secure with both bolts to access the storage space behind.
5. Lower the folding shelf to create a lockable compartment for laptops and valuables - use the cable pass-through to charge equipment while locked.
6. Store heavier items in the lower compartment to maintain stability.
7. Lock both compartments with the keyed-alike deadlocks when leaving the unit unattended.

Note: Always lift the SiteStation empty using the crane lifting eyes. Ensure electrical equipment is PAT tested and cables are not damaged before use.

Safety Information

• Carry out a risk assessment before use.
• Apply both castor brakes whilst the unit is in position and in use.
• The SiteStation must only be lifted empty using the crane lifting eyes.
• Distribute weight evenly and always load heavier items in the base compartment to prevent the unit becoming top-heavy.
• Do not hang heavy objects from the sides of the unit.
• Take care with moving parts as they may present a finger trap hazard.
• WARNING: Electricity can injure or kill. Ensure all electrical equipment is PAT tested and approved, and that no damaged cables or parts are used.
• Always carry out a fire risk assessment when power is present.
• Do not leave trailing cables from the SiteStation.
• The unit is suitable for outdoor use but is not waterproof - protect electrical equipment from water damage.
• Lock all compartments and remove keys before moving the unit.
