The Multi F 13 lifting frame builds a four point lifting frame rated to 13 tonnes in spans up to 6m x 6m, using four corner units and the same interchangeable struts as the Multi 13 spreader beam system.
How the system works
Each frame assembly consists of four corner units and interchangeable struts bolted between them to set the required length and width. Because the corner units accept the full range of Multi-Sec struts, an existing Multi 13 spreader beam system can be converted into a four point lifting frame simply by ordering the corresponding corner units. Frames can be built square or rectangular to suit the footprint of the load.

Frame capacity varies with the combination of width and span. The figures above are the rated maximums; refer to the load chart in the range brochure for the capacity at your specific configuration, or send us the frame size you need and we will confirm it. Load charts for 45° STV are available on request.
What is included
Each kit is supplied as a complete assembly: four corner units, the strut set for the selected frame size, connection bolts, and four top and four bottom shackles at the rated SWL for the system. Instructions for use, proof test certification and a full component schedule are supplied with every order.
Frames give four lifting points for loads that would tip or flex on a single beam. Where two points are enough, a modular spreader beam uses the same struts.
Approvals and certification
Multi-Sec modular systems are DNV Type Approved to DNV-ST-0378 and designed, manufactured and tested in the United Kingdom in accordance with DNV-ST-0378 (Offshore and Platform Lifting Appliances), BS EN 13155:2003+A2:2009, BS EN 1993-1-1:2005 (Eurocode 3), EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, LOLER 1998 and PUWER 1998. Manufacture is carried out under ISO 9001:2015 with accreditation to BS EN 1090-2 Execution Class 3. Every system is 100% proof tested before despatch and supplied with full certification and traceability.
Typical applications
Modular buildings and bathroom pods, prefabricated plant skids, ISO modules, transformer and switchgear installation, precast concrete units, and any load requiring four point support to control deflection or maintain orientation.
