This product is manufactured to European standards by Yale Industrial Products, part of the Columbus McKinnon group. All units are supplied with a CE Declaration of Conformity. Load moving skates are classed as work equipment under PUWER 1998. Regular visual inspection is required before every use, with periodic thorough examination by a competent person in line with site safety policy and any applicable insurance requirements.

The LFL-1-2 suits workshops, installation work, panel handling, electrical and tooling positioning โ anywhere a 1000kg or lighter load needs to be moved with full directional control over smooth flat surfaces. Combine multiple LFL skates, or mix with fixed-wheel LF units of matching capacity, to build a system where some skates steer and others run straight. For heavier loads (above 1t per skate) the LF and SX/S ranges offer higher capacities.
Warning:
Do not exceed the 1000kg rated capacity per skate. Steerable wheels need a smooth flat surface โ debris or rough surfaces can lock the swivel.
Maintenance-free in normal use. Inspect weekly with attention to castor swivel free movement, wheel nylon condition, frame integrity and the anti-slip rubber lining.
LF has fixed wheels and rolls straight only. LFL has steerable swivel castor wheels for directional control. Both share the same solid forged steel construction, anti-slip rubber lining and nylon wheels; LFL adds the swivel mechanism. Choose LFL where you need to guide the load; choose LF for fixed-line moves.
The LFL-1-2 has two steerable swivel wheels (75ร46mm) and two fixed wheels (100ร35mm) โ a stable configuration where the load tracks straight under load but can be steered when initiating direction changes. The LFL-1-4 has four steerable wheels (75ร46mm) for full multi-directional control, useful for tighter positioning work but less stable under straight-line motion.
Yes โ LFL and LF units are universally combinable so long as the capacities match. A common setup uses LFL units at the front (or one corner) to steer, with LF units providing the stable rear support.
The LFL-1-2 weighs 13kg per skate. The added weight versus the LF range reflects the swivel castor mechanism and the slightly larger frame (430 ร 340 ร 120 mm).

From our depot to your site, every order is fully tracked and delivered on our own WOLFF Onsite vehicles or via trusted courier partners. Delivery costs are calculated based on your postcode and order size.
Pallet Delivery
Dispatched within 1โ2 working days, delivered next working day between 8amโ5pm, Monday to Friday. Delivery cost is based on the number of pallet spaces and your delivery zone.
Parcel Delivery
Smaller items like radio accessories and safety equipment ship via tracked courier at a flat rate. Deliveries between 8:30amโ5pm, Monday to Friday.
RENTAL Delivery / Collection
All rentals are delivered and collected by the WOLFF Onsite team. We'll confirm a delivery time that works for you and arrange collection within 3 working days of your hire end date. Deliveries and collections between 8amโ5pm, Monday to Friday, Saturday collections can be arranged if suitable.
Dispatch Times
Orders placed by 1pm are dispatched same day where possible. Some products carry a manufacturing lead time, this is always stated in the product description.
