More About This Product

The Invicta Boot Wash Station (Model IBWS) is a practical footwear cleaning solution designed for construction sites, quarries, farms and any environment where personnel need to clean boots before entering clean zones or site offices. Available in two configurations — the IBWS-IL (in-line, 3-person) and the IBWS-BTB (back-to-back, 2-person) — both units are compact, robust and require no power supply. Simply fill with water and the integrated brushes do the work. The low-maintenance design means the station can be repositioned around site as needed using a forklift. Manufactured in Leeds by Invicta Forks & Attachments.

Suitable Applications

The IBWS is ideal for construction sites, quarries, farms, food processing facilities and any location where footwear cleaning is required before entering clean areas. Commonly positioned at site entrance points, outside office cabins, near welfare facilities and at the boundary between dirty and clean work zones.

How to Use the Boot Wash Station

  1. Position the boot wash station on level ground at your desired location.
  2. Fill the unit with clean water to the recommended level.
  3. Personnel step into the station and use the integrated brushes to clean their boots.
  4. Drain and refill with clean water as required to maintain effectiveness.

Warning:
Ensure the station is positioned on stable, level ground. Take care when stepping in and out of the unit, particularly in wet or icy conditions.

Safety Information

  • Position on stable, level ground to prevent tipping.
  • Take care when stepping in and out, particularly in wet or cold conditions.
  • Drain and clean the station regularly to maintain hygiene.
  • Use caution when repositioning — the unit will be heavy when filled with water.

Inspection and Maintenance

Drain and clean the unit regularly. Inspect the brushes for wear and replace as needed. Check the steel body for corrosion and treat with appropriate paint or inhibitor. The unit does not fall under LOLER as it is not a lifting accessory.
