Weekly hire of the Multi-Sec MP-13 multi-point lifting beam, rated to 13 tonnes and available at 3m or 6m. The beam is supplied dressed with shackles; lower connection rigging is not included and is quoted separately against your lift configuration.
Lifting configurations
The beam can be arranged in three ways without any change of equipment:
- Centre point lift. A single beam lifted from one central top point, giving a compact solution where headroom is limited. The load is taken on multiple lower points for even support of symmetrical loads.
- Spreader beam. Angled top slings connect to top lifting points that match the bottom spans at two positions, allowing one set of hardware to achieve multiple lifting spans. Suitable for a standard two point lift.
- Semi-spreader beam. Top lifting points are offset from the bottom points, allowing low headroom lifting of loads picked at two opposing ends or at multiple points along the beam.
Header slings must not exceed 30° sling to vertical in spreader and semi-spreader configurations.
Handling
Every beam is fitted with standard forklift pockets for safe handling and positioning on site, and multiple lifting point positions are drilled along the length of the beam so the rigging can be matched to the load rather than the other way round.
