Buy this truck for a known problem rather than as a general-purpose unit. It earns its place where a site regularly receives goods on flat pallets, plastic slip sheets, low-profile export skids or shallow-clearance stillages, and where operators are currently manhandling those loads or breaking them down by hand because the standard trucks will not fit. It is common in export and import handling, print and paper, glass and panel distribution, and anywhere receiving goods on non-standard pallets from overseas suppliers. Because the steel rollers are noisier and harder on floors than polyurethane, it is not the truck to standardise a whole fleet on. Keep one or two for the awkward loads and run standard GS EVO trucks for everything else.
How to Use
- Confirm the load is within the 2000kg rating, which is lower than the standard GS EVO.
- Set the tiller control to lower and check the forks are fully down before approaching.
- Enter the pallet squarely and slowly, since the clearance on a low-profile pallet is small and a misaligned entry will catch the deck boards.
- Drive the forks fully home so the load sits over the whole fork length.
- Select lift and pump the tiller until the load is clear of the floor.
- Move with the control in neutral, then lower, release and withdraw squarely.
Warning: Capacity is 2000kg, not the 2500kg of the standard GS EVO. If this truck is working alongside standard trucks, make sure operators know the rating differs, since the trucks look similar at a glance.
Safety Information
