Multi-point lifting beam for transporting heavy or awkward loads with a crane. Available in 3, 5 and 7 metre lengths.
The Conquip Lifting Beam is engineered to transport materials that cannot be moved using a single-point lift or a chain sling, or where multiple items need to be lifted together. The beam features two attachment points for connecting to a crane on the topside, and multiple lifting points on the underside for attaching loads. The result is a safer, more stable lift for awkward, oversized, or non-uniform materials. Built-in stands prevent fouling of hooks when the beam is landed and provide easy access to attached lifting chains. All lengths are tested and certified to a Factor of Safety 3 with a 5000kg Working Load Limit. Available in 3, 5, and 7 metre standard lengths, with bespoke sizes manufactured to order.
Working Load Limit 5000kg. Factor of Safety 3. Manufactured in the UK to BS EN 13155.

The Lifting Beam suits any task that involves lifting loads which cannot be safely transported with a single-point lift, including long timber sections, structural steel, scaffold tubes, multi-pack deliveries, and oversized precast components. It is particularly useful in housebuilding for lifting roof trusses and panel sections, and in infrastructure work for moving long pipes, beams, and prefabricated assemblies. The 7-metre variant handles substantial structural members, while the 3-metre variant offers a compact solution for everyday multi-point lifts.
Warning: Total load including chains must not exceed the 5000kg Working Load Limit. Always verify even weight distribution before lifting. Inspect for visible damage, weld cracks, or distortion before each use. Lifting must be carried out by competent personnel in accordance with LOLER 1998.
Conquip manufactures bespoke lengths to order. Contact us with your specification and we will arrange a quote.
The Lifting Beam is tested and certified to a Factor of Safety 3 for peace of mind on every lift, and is fully LOLER-compliant.
The built-in stand stops damage to the hooks when the beam is landed and gives easy access to attached lifting chains. Store horizontally to prevent twisting.
3-metre suits everyday multi-point lifts of standard pallets and shorter loads. 5-metre handles roof trusses and longer structural members. 7-metre is for substantial structural beams or long pipe sections.
