The Invicta Spreader Beam (Model ISB) is a crane or excavator slung attachment ideal for lifting and laying rolls and liners as used on landfill sites, man-made ponds, bankings and similar applications. The core bar passes through the centre of the roll while the main spreader bar and 2-leg lifting chain provide a safe, balanced lift via a single lifting ring. Manufactured in Leeds by Invicta Forks & Attachments.

This product is designed and manufactured in the UK by Invicta Forks & Attachments, the UK's largest mechanical forklift attachment manufacturer, based in Leeds. Where applicable, this product is supplied with a test certificate and EC Declaration of Conformity. LOLER 1998 thorough examinations are required every 6 months by a competent person after initial certification.
A lifting beam has a single top attachment and works in bending, which makes it compact in headroom. Where the load is taken through slings at both ends, a spreader beam is lighter for the same capacity; for four-point support see lifting frames.
Inspection and Maintenance
Inspect regularly with particular attention to all weld points, lifting eyes, pivot points and any signs of deformation or corrosion. Certified for six months from manufacture — thorough examination under LOLER 1998 required every 6 months.
