The Invicta Adjustable Fork Mounted Hook Economy (Model IAH-E) provides a quick and economical method of lifting and positioning unpalletised loads. Multiple lifting positions can be achieved by positioning the attachment along the fork blade. This compact unit has been specifically designed for environments where storage space and transportation are at a premium — it fits neatly onto the fork without requiring removal or modification. Available in 1000kg and 2000kg capacities with a maximum fork section of 100 x 45mm at 220mm centres, the IAH-E is ideal for lighter-duty applications. How to Use the Adjustable Fork Mounted Hook (Economy)

1. Drive forks into fork pockets ensuring thumb screws are suitably retracted.
2. Locate the attachment to the required position along the blade of the fork.
3. Tighten thumb screws at the desired position ensuring they are adequately tightened.
4. Attach your load to the swivel hook and shackle.
5. The attachment is now ready for use.

Warning: Always ensure only vertical lifts are made — do not make diagonal lifts with this attachment. The mast must remain in the vertical position at all times. Do not exceed the safe working load.

Safety Information

• Ensure the operator is fully conversant with the attachment before use.
• Ensure both the truck and attachment are capable of handling the intended load.
• Ensure the shackle pin is adequately tightened before each use.
• Do not tighten the thumb screws onto the taper of the fork blade.
• Do not drive into the fork pockets without first retracting the thumb screws.
• Do not shock load the attachment under any circumstances.

Inspection and Maintenance

Inspect weekly with particular attention to all weld points, wear and distortion of fork pockets and thumb screws, and the condition of the swivel hook, safety latch and shackle. Treat surface rusting with proprietary inhibitors and repaint as required. Certified for six months from manufacture — re-test or competent person inspection required thereafter.
